A kind-hearted street urchin and a power-hungry Grand Vizier vie for a magic lamp that has the power to make their deepest wishes come true.

I have to be honest, Aladdin didn't disappoint at all! You can count on me this time. When I first heard about one of my favourite Disney classic is going to be recreated for live action, I immediately had a thought of hoping that the live action didn’t mess everything up. Well in this case, I'm pleased to say that my bad thought didn't come true. In fact, this movie had come up to my expectation.
For the compliment,
Aladdin is a complete triumph
Aladdin retells its classic source material's story with sufficient spectacle and skill, even if it never approaches the dazzling splendor of the animated original. Everything is just perfect in its place from the terms of casting, story plot, song selection, setting and even the way how the movie addresses the problematic aspects of the original to make it more modern and relatable.
Overall, though, “Aladdin” is as fun as a magic carpet ride, so sit back and enjoy the unbelievable sights and indescribable feeling, soaring, tumbling, freewheeling through an endless diamond sky.
