This film was inspired by a famous "James Bond Malaya" trilogy: Gerak Kilat, Bayangan Ajal and Jurang Bahaya with the name of "Jefri Zain" acted by the legendary Tan Sri Datuk Dr Jins Shamsudin

J Revolusi is a movie I was genuinely looking forward to when it first released in cinema. As an action movie lover, I approve the quality of the fighting scene because for me, the fight choreography was excellent and kudos to Grand Brilliance for making the collaboration with Infinitus Production, an action production company owned by Hong Kong actor Andy Lau. I also loved all the setting and locations selection.
Superb Editing
The way how the movie portrayed KL made me feel like it is massive, modern, and way more metropolitan than it actually is. Not a tiny city that I've always thought of it.

However I don't deny that there are some weaknesses in terms of plotting or maybe the characters? I'm not so sure about that but what I want to mention here is that there's a lot of situation happen without any further explanation before or after. Characters move from one set piece to the next with no consideration to time. There’s also a scene that literally goes from day to night within a single cut without any explanation whatsoever. If characters don’t power the engine of a movie, then maybe the fuel is in the plot. Unfortunately for J, every little plot can't be driven well so it's a bit turn off for me.
Despite all that, I nonetheless still love this movie and agree that it is one of the hard work that pays off. Out of ten, I would probably rate J Revolusi a seven stars.
